Inexpensive pedals might be OK, but...
These pedals were received exactly as described and shown, so no bait and switch. Made out of die-cast aluminum?, they are probably suitable for general use. They are very inexpensive so of course trade offs are made, I would expect they would break somewhat easily on impact. The issue with these pedals are the spindle bearings roll very poorly, crunchy or notchy feeling and not smooth at all. Time will tell if they free up and rotate more smoothly, but I wouldn't bet on it.These pedals were received exactly as described and shown, so no bait and switch.
