Can't believe the quality
Bought this and have only had it a few days.....Setup was very very easy...the software is nice, and when I turned on the camera I was surprised....Very surprised....12MP is great, the color is rich, and zoom and pan also is nice. The most impressive item was the low light capabilities. I was sitting at the computer with just the monitor light, and it was more then enough to use, no pixel issue, no fuzz, nothing, just a clear picture...Lastly is Motion detection, I set that up and on the first day I recorded my Dog coming into the room multiple times just being a dog, and it was cute to watch him finding things to do while I was at work..My next step now is to link this high quality camera up for streaming live video on the web..Well worth the money, and with logictech you cannot go ... Good quality video and sound that produces smaller video file size
I got this to use for recording video to post to youtube. It is 720p resolution which is not a large as many more recently made webcams. I actually wanted this in order to store video files with lower megabytes. For example 20 minutes with this cam is around 200 -300 Mb as opposed to a 1180p which creates around 1.2 Gb. This is a great solution because the video quality and the sound recorded by the built in mic are still very good. Plug and play with no drivers needed in windows 7 and up. I got this to use for recording video to post to youtube. It is 720p resolution which is not a large as many more recently made webcams.
