The items arrived a day earlier than expected, they were in the condition as advertised and shown, and were packaged well (for travel from the US to Australia). Although I didn't have many interactions with the seller, they were very responsive and prompt (thank you). [My only feedback is for the US postal system - the postage fees are exorbitant compared to elsewhere in the world.]

"Most of you are beginners, so it may be rather difficult for you to understand why we practice zazen..." We always say (we practice zazen) “just to sit.” And if you do, you will find out that Zen practice—just to sit—is not easy. Just to sit may be the most difficult thing. To work on something is not difficult; how to 'not work on anything' is rather difficult." Read it once, it may be confusing. Read it twice and it ...

  • Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind

I've been studying Buddhism for 15 years and have read many books on the subject. I was introduced to Zen Mind recently and after the first several pages I wondered why couldn't this have been the first book?
