Modern, functional landline with good features at a good price.
I wouldn't say the phone exceeded expectations. I just gave it 4 stars because it's what I had hoped. Granted, I have not read the instruction manual thoroughly, but the phone is not all that easy to use. I have trouble remembering how to access "New Calls" to review phone numbers of missed calls while I was out and to be able to delete the numbers when they're SPAM. When I go through the review of calls, I keep ending up having the phone start to dial the number on the screen, when I'm just trying to see the next call number. I only have one landline with one phone number, but this phone has a line 2. Is the purpose for 'call waiting'? I haven't figured it out yet and why the same numbers come up in a review of new calls for both lines, which means deleting a second set of the same ... Without any doubt, the best phone if you're working from home on the phone.
Great work-from-home phone. Crystal clear, no hums or buzzes. Enough features for an "At-Home" call center for long periods on the phone. Best headset performance (with a good biaural headset). Don't try to use the junk Plantronics sells, or you will be greatly dissappointed. If I had to buy another phone for my work-from-home position, I would buy another AT&T MIL17929 2-Line phone without a doubt. If you work from home, or spend hours on the phone with a headset, this is the phone for you. I have not found one single thing to say negatively about this phone. 2 line phone - good quality, I have used this model a long time, holds up well
Good clean sounding phone. It's as good as the phone line you connect it to. If I had any complaint it would be that it could use a blinky led to show messages waiting, rather than the display text that isn't easy to spot unless you look specifically for messages. Speaker phone is decent but if you're all around the room with the handset, a long cord would be a wise addition.
