    Immersive Addiction or Painful Realism?

    If you're a fan of the movie, then I'm sure you are well aware of the plot-An alien that can morph into absolutely anything has made its way to Earth and noone knows exactly what/where it is. The game follows the movie well enough but takes steps of it's own in plotline and events to keep you on your toes. Probably the most unique part of this game is the fact that the npc's watch your behavior so carefully, because just as you should be, they are afraid that you in fact, could be the "thing" just as well as they could be. So, running to the same room 3 times in a row, or running in deliberate circles, or anything they find "strange" could cause your npc teammates to open fire on you. When I first heard of this feature, I was thrilled, but as I experienced it myself, I was unimpressed and ...

    A Great Survival Horror Classic

    I bought this game again because my old fat PS2 can no longer read my 1st one (being of CD format and the reliable DVD format ). I spent much time playing this 2002 released game over the awesome RE4 game. Being able to command 02 to 03 squad mates against mutated alien monsters is a blast...literally! Against the small numbers of enemy human enemies your buddies can manage but larger groups...forgetaboutit! The only issue I have with this game (besides some spotty collision detection) is the aforementioned CD format...because PS2 consoles read DVD based games without issues. It takes me several tries to load this game and I had to use the dual tape trick on the disc label side for my old PS2 to read it.

    The thing video game. :)

    I'm very happy with it. Is my first time doing it. I like to start small and then if I'm happy I'll continue buy more stuff. But yes I am happy about it.
