matrix was a good movie, and good movies have good soundtracks. the collection of bands here include the popular and well known like marilyn manson and rob zombie to artists this forty something had never heard of. this album exposed me to propellerheads, ministry, prodigy and rage against the machine, all good music that i otherwise would never hear through my normal listening sources. this is a good album because it begs me to get off the couch and move. each track drives the album forward. never boring, played loudly, you may need to rest after the workout matrix soundtrack will give you.
A classic soundtrack if you liked or disliked The Matrix. With tracks from Rob Zombie to RATM to Manson, it's hard to find a track that you don't care for. Truly a classic from start to finish! And now for the downside... The album is a bit short, had I put it together I would have included a bit of the score as well. All and all this is why it did not earn a 5/5 from me, but damn close... Great Purchase with no regrets in anyway!
