Went to his programs several X, this tape was too much music, not nearly enough Garrison, it seemed every one who did closeup had very dirty hair, like they did not really care anymore., I gave it to my bro in law who plays dulcimer. I'm not sure why I missed all those years of Prairie Home Companion and got interested just when it was ending, but I needed to see what all the hullabaloo was about so I bought this DVD. I ended up sorry that I did miss all those years! It's kind of hard to summarize what the show and its cast was like, but I know I laughed a lot, was fascinated by the old radio premise (complete with man-made sound effects), and its basic simplicity. I had loved listening to radio programs as a child and found that I again wanted to devote all of my attention on the programs so that I didn't miss a word.
