About this product

Product Information

Based on the television series aired on Cartoon Network, Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy is the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric, and their quest to find the Philosopher's Stone, an object said to grant the user abilities in transmutation. In "Story" mode, players assume the role of Edward and Alphonse and then journey through a side-scrolling adventure to defeat the Homunculi with powers that include stone spikes and bolts of fire. In "Character" mode, gamers can select from one of six characters also featured on Fullmetal Alchemist. Choosing between Roy Mustang, Alex Louis Armstrong, and Scar among others will equip players with a variety of unique powers and fighting styles created for each of the six characters. Unlocking content through gameplay yields such goodies as talking character alarm clocks, video and sound libraries, and character galleries. Dual Sympathy also features ten mini-games including "Whack-A-Homunculus" and "Fullmetal vs. Flame."

A good game for a fan

It was pretty sure fire I'd love this since I already loved the manga. Pretty fun so far, would recommend to any fan of the series, even though it's following the orginal TV show instead of the manga.

  • This game is very worth it! And not expensive.

I bought this game because FMA is one of my favorite animes, especially Brotherhood. The quality, graphics, and game mechanisms are great and follows the storyline. I would've preferred the option of changing the dubbed voices into the actual Japanese one, but I know that it's a US version. Overall, the game is pretty good !

  • Awesome game! Recommend for everyone one and it is worth your money,

I brought this DS game because I was a huge fan of Fullmetal Alchemist and just HAD to get the game! I started playing this game yesterday and just love it! It followed the actual series and I love the mini games and other features. The game is easy yet hard at the same time. This is the best DS game I have. If you are a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist you have to get this game. Even if your not a fan this game would be awesome! I recommend this product to everyone of all age.

  • FullMetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy

Not the fastest shipping, sorry. But eh. FullMetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy isn't the BEST game I've ever played. It's hard to maneuver in, and the graphics kinda... suck. The reviews about it were oh so true ^^|| But, it has Edward Elric in it so I'm content. My rating for the game would have to be a 5 out of 10, so if you're a fan of FMA, and are a big videogamer, I wouldn't reccomend this game. But the overall service for buying this was great! Thanks!

  • Awesome game for FMA fans!

Great game! Perfect for any FMA fan. Graphics and sound is good. I love the voice overs and clips even tho they're limited. The mini-games are very fun (but kinda hard if you forgot where you put your stylus..) I personally think the game would have been better if Square-Enix made it, since they had done the PS2 games(which are awesome). Overall, the game is excellent
