    Helpful Study Tool!

I'm a pretty new student of the Scriptures and I think Jay P. Green's Interlinear Bible is one of the best Scripture study tools to have on hand if you're new to the languages of Scripture. At the front of the book is a guide to the Greek & Hebrew alphabets It's a non-threatening way to learn Hebrew & Greek and, coupled with the Strong's Concordance, gain some valuable insight into what the Creator's words really mean. I do have a few complaints about this translation. It appears to not remain entirely loyal to what the Textus Receptus (what at this point I think is the oldest & most reliable Greek New Testament text available today) but instead adjusts portions of the Textus Receptus to make it fit with the more modern Greek New Testament texts in existence today. Also the text is a bit ...

  • Top critical review

Great source for bringing the three languages together, however the print in english is very very small!

The print in English is very very small! That is what others have written in their reviews. I was thinking how bad could that be? Now I am echoing what others have said. Do have a magnifying glass handy. I applaud them with bring the three languages together.

  • The treasures in God's Word are more fully revealed!

I bought this Bible because I wanted to know the original text written in Hebrew and Greek. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. It's been a challenge to learn how to read the Hebrew text as it's written backwards. It's a very large volume and bulky to hold, although the print is not very large. My only complaint is I've found various typos and mistakes. They've been small in nature and I've been able to figure out what was meant using the King James version. Yes, I'd recommend it to others if they want to study the Bible in its original languages. I've found it quite fascinating as it often has different words than are in the King James version that shed new light and are inspiring. I like this Bible better than the Hebrew and Greek Key Words version as I want to see every word, ...

  • Wonderful Large Interliear Bible

This Bible is excellent for self-study or the serious Biblical Scholar!! I would highly recommend this Bible to anyone seeking to look into Holy Bible in the original ( in general) types of writing and languages of the original men who wrote as inspired by Almighty God!!

  • Could have been the all you need Bible but poor printing ruins this book.

When I ordered this Bible I was very excited. At the time I was just starting to learn Hebrew and I thought that this book would be a great tool. I was also looking forward to having the Greek and Hebrew all in one book. When I got the Bible it was disappointing to say the least, the Hebrew text of the Torah, prophets and writings is horribly small and often unreadable. If someone purchases an interlinear Bible chances are that they will be unfamiliar with at least one of the languages in the text. It is likely that they will want to learn one of the languages in the text and so to have poor and even unreadable text is simply unacceptable. Another minor criticism is that the Strong's numbers are not always accurate. This can be annoying but does not occur often. Overall this ...
