I love it but...
I absolutely love this kettle. It is so easy to heat the water to the perfect temperature for the various types of teas that I drink. I am very happy I bought this kettle. I love it but... soon after using it I noticed there was a piece broken on the handle. I am not sure if it was there when I received it or not, but I only used it a few times and I did not bump it, it was in a safe location being used and when stored. Other than this issue though it is great.I absolutely love this kettle. It is so easy to heat the water to the perfect temperature for the various types of teas that I drink. Needs at least two cups of water to work well. It gets confused and all lights start flashing sometimes. Pour cold water in the kettle to reset the thermostat (I assume) stops this. I wonder if I got a bum kettle or it's just the design. Also works best for us if the warming button is always turned off since we generally empty the kettle or else the kettle goes into its panic mode. Cuisinart electric teapot review
The grip is a little big even though I have a large hand. The spout is fine as long as you have a full pot of hot water. When you are down to half a liter of water, the water doesn’t come from the center of the spout, it dribbles all over. The notification that the water has reached, the appropriate temperature is very soft. If you were not in the same room, you won’t be able to hear it. I set the timer in the kitchen for about how long I think it will take the water to boil. I like the capacity, and I like the fact that it will boil 1.7 L of water.
