I don’t want to be furious anymore. Please respect your buyers in your treatment of them. If you discover a problem, please communicate with the buyer. If the auction isn’t going the way you need, end it. You can do that. Error in the listing. Easy. Don’t wait until a buyer bids, wins, pays then bam! Canceled. I wish you luck and success in your eBay endeavors.

My intention wasn’t to mislead the buyer. I was packing the item when it broke. I cancelled the sale and stated the reason for cancellation broken item. I cannot ship an item that is broken.

There was no, I repeat, no communication from the seller that the item was broken. Nor was there any communication from seller as to the nature of the break, or whether I might still want the item. No communication at all from seller. All communication was through eBay. Seller asserts refund was right away. Well, I paid right away, so point? The ending price for the item was I assume too low. Hence, cancellation. Trying to intimidate me to change my feedback by getting eBay involved not helpful
