Pros: Recruiting features; new animations; new commentary; updated playbooks; deeper and more realistic dynasty mode. Cons: Premium content in the game after I've already spent money on it...ridiculus! lag; menu options are not very user friendly; hurky jerky movement...still! Overall better than 09, but EA Sports has yet again failed to provide a product that is worth its price tag. With what they were able to do with Madden 2010, which is far superior to that of 2009, they could have implemented much of the same technology into NCAA 2010. I'm a big fan of the NCAA football series, but am getting tired of the lack of effort that EA Sports puts into each new release. Recommended, but wait until you can get it on sale before you drop the $60 on it and are mad that you did.
I'm new to the PS3, and love it so far. That being the case the last time I had played a version of NCAA football was on a PS2, I think it was the 2004 version. The reason I bring this up is because I'm very shocked and dissapointed at how much this game has not improved from the 2004 version I played. The announcers still repeat the same crap, the crowd still looks like crap, and the players honestly don't look that much better. It seems that EA didn't even come close to tapping in to what the PS3 can really do. The road to glory mode of the game is decent. You start out as a high school player playing in your states playoffs and work your way up from there. Other than that there's not many high points for me to mention...in my opinion. I will still recommend this game simply because I love college football, and if you do to then you will atleast enjoy this game...even with it's flaws.Read full review
Ok so this game is definitely a nice upgrade to the previous year. The graphics are much better, game play is smoother, and the sound is awsome. The only disappointing things to me are, the music and the pay for features. The music seems the same every year for the past 5 years plus. The other thing I don't like is getting a game and having to pay for recruiting tools or features like the create a team. I would think for the money you spend to get the game, these things would be included. Guess not. Other then that this game does rock. Not a must buy, but definitely a good game to have.
Great game...Very realistic in the college sense as opposed to the Madden sense. I felt Madden became much more realistic with the hits and how it affects people and how they move and the same goes for this game, just college wise. However, this game also has the option and I haven't noticed options in any NFL games. That goes for any college game though...Think it is a good buy though if you are a college football fan and it is gives you the option of playing with a friend online or just offline. Very good game, 4.3/5 stars.
i like how break it dow and put every name on the every team roster in the game i cant wait to do it then ima download to ma game when it come out and i be able to get a real game just like real games on tv!!! good deal! i use to put all the names on my favorite team and leave the rest without names but with your ideas it will save me all the trouble i go through since i first play it on the playstation 2!!! ima enjoy it a lot and have fun with it! thanks!!!!
