    My soldering station was purchased a long time ago (40+years) The complete station cost much less than the replacement handle, however the new one fit correctly and works perfectly. I'm very pleased with it. Considering it lasts as long as the original, it will far outlast my remaining lifetime.

    Just like the original.

    My old soldering pencil lasted 15 years until the heater burned out. The handle was cracked too so it was time. This pencil is an exact replacement using the same tips so I'm satisfied. Wish the replacement was a little cheaper but overall I can't complain. Good product.

    Have a new system now.

    Trouble shooting indicated I needed a new iron, my power supply was good. This fixed it and is nice to have a good soldering station once again.

    Buy original replacement parts

    I have owned this model before and use it regularly. Pricey but worth the money. Be careful buying aftermarket parts as they look the same but are very cheap quality.
