I have a USA waist circumference of 30” and had recently purchased size L. Decided to give the XL a try just for comparison and it also fits great. The waistband between the L/XL are very similar. The XL offers a bit more in the thigh and crotch/“package” area. I am pleased with both. I hope this feedback helps future buyers.
