Great game, great graphics and great fun. Really enjoying playing but I have since discovered it's not as easy to pick up and play as previous Gran Turismo games, Gone are the cup championships and having to pass your licences to play the more advanced races, this is just a series of singles races, on single tracks and trying to beat 3 levels of difficulty and the tracks are unlocked as you earn experience and level up, also there aren't as many tracks or cars as any of the previous versions and seems a little like the limited Prologue game that was released at a cheaper price, I'm assuming it's more geared towards online racing, which I haven't tried yet because sometimes you just want to play your way without interfering with somebody else's game, nothing worse than going into a race and have some random person ruin your game by crashing into you or just cheating their way to win. All this being said, it's still enjoyable and fun to play, especially if you don't pay full price, you won't be disappointed.Read full review

This new version is nowhere near as good as the first games. It is geared around online racing so the stuff you can do in single player mode is very limited. there are a few single player races against the AI to win cups (and cars) in but it just doesn't feel as good as it used to. The online racing doesn't really interest me as i never seem to get a good race without being shunted off at a corner by someone. Not as many cars in this version as there is in older versions and the only enhancing you can do to cars is cosmetic, decals colours etc. All in all, i feel let down after the long wait.

having completed every gran turismo and being a huge motor sport fan, and sim racer i knew this game would be a hit or a miss for me due to the lack of 'career mode' and car selection.im not willing to pay to play online as my g25 wont work on a ps4 (thanks sony) but i thought at 18 pound i would not pass up the opportunity for another gt game. first off, its cracking. beautiful graphics, handling is immense, cars are stunning, tracks etc spot on but theres a few issues yet again...gran turismo never has been able to capture sound properly, they just cant do it..everyone else can, just not them..cars still sound like boxes of wasps zipping about, its an improvement on the last gts though, the other issue is the lack of cars and offline action to keep me interested..if you pay to play then buy this straight away, if you dont then at least make sure you buy it cheap..the thrill of getting corners right and having to hold off the accelerator until after the apex has never been better on a racing game..keep it smooth and youll succeed. now wheres gt7??Read full review

Predictably I very much miss the campaign mode. No sense of progression, you get randomly gifted the best cars in the game, and can't even sell them. Very flat experience all in all. The online section it's also very small, I don't understand what they mean by "online-focused" since most of the game is actually "licenses", which used to be a mini-game before the main campaign. All in all it just feels like an extended freemium mini-game. Worth £18, no more. Oh and the graphics are not great, but at least that makes the loading faster.

Brilliant game for the ps4. Don't have any vr gear to test to the fullest but the graphics are more than fine on the standard console. Haven't kept up with tis series of racing game in recent times as i thought some were not pulsating enough but this one has gripped my senses. Really enjoying it so far. Delivery time was insanly quick too.
