    way better 'in person'

    Much better in person than pix, which were very good. Couldn't tell if black or very dark gray. I think the glossy parts are black, and the matte on the band dark gunmetalish grey -- even better than all one. It's very subtle, and very very good design, in my opinion. Giftee is very happy!
