Rewind to 1977 and relive a galaxy-wide civil war with the VHS version of 'Star Wars,' the epic space opera by George Lucas. Mark Hamill stars as Luke Skywalker, a young and impetuous farmer who embarks on a quest to rescue the beautiful Princess Leia Organa. In so doing, he and his companions C-3PO, R2-D2, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan Kenobi plunge head-first into a war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. They discover the Empire has built a new weapon of mass destruction, the Death Star, which is capable of destroying planets. During their adventure, they also meet one of the most memorable villains in sci-fi history, Darth Vader.

    This is a visually stunning movie, Even today. This movie, released originally in 1977 was so far ahead of it's time that it's scary. George Lucas pionerred and created new filming and speacial effects tecnices that are still relivant and still used today. Without the pioneer efforts of this movie most of todays big box office hits wouldn't be possible. This film is fun and action pact, it spawned two sequals, 3 prequals, several made for tv movies and many many cartoon series. + hundreads of books, toys, lunch boxes, underwear, toothbrushed, dog holloween costumes and any other bizarr thing you can tink of... Star wars is one of the greatest movies ever and george lucas is a god!!!

    Star wars VHS

    I set out to find the un-tainted editions of the original trilogy. I know that VCR's kind of hard to find any more but I just so happened to have one. the films play beautifully however I can see the difference in VHS and blue ray. If you are looking to gain a little of your past then this group of VHS are for you.
