    Alvarez sound quality and design

    Alvarez regent RD8 acoustic guitars are well worth there cost, up to about $240.00 and over depending on the condition but each guitar differs in it's own way due to the wood quality and type used in the production of the guitar. I have 2 Alvarez acoustics both of them are dreadnoughts that produce rich deep tones I give them a 7 out of 10,for sound quality and 9 out of 10 for price vs value. highly recommended!!!!

    You Dont Always Get What You Pay For--Sometimes You Get Much More!

    My dearly departed Dad and I both enjoyed playing guitars, and have had many, both inexpensive and pricey. This guitar, though, was always his go-to, and I'll tell you why. It may look no-frills, but the wood is high-quality with a nice finish. One doesn't have to shell out a lot of dough to make others stop what they're doing and tune in, because this very affordable beauty has it all: smooth fretting, low action, and a sweet, bright tone. The finish on the neck is also light enough so that if you need to move up and down the fretboard quickly, you can do so and smoothly. It holds its tuning very well in changing environments and even if unfortunately left to sit for long periods. I couldn't believe it when I found out he paid well under $200 for this guitar. I wish it had been ...
