Item was shipped without a protective cardboard box and was completely crushed as a result. I received no response from the seller when I reached out. Terrible experience, one of the worst I've experienced on Ebay. The lack of any response at all after destroying the item by careless treatment is highly disappointing. Avoid this seller.

    Agreat game disc to have.

This is the 2005 version. The game has the old characters and for me that is ok. I have tried several other later versions and they do NOT do justice to the Hoyle name. I have this on my computer now and find not faults in any game I play. The 2005 version will not play on W-10. It is not compatible. If you like playing games, this is the version to get.

  • A real disappointment

The earlier Hoyle Games with talking characters was intrusive enough, but this new version is over the top. The actual game area is so small the cards seem not important in all the strange environments. The old Pinochle game I had from and earlier version of Hoyle which is not compatible with my new Windows had options for double and single deck and various other things, this newer version is so full of talk, characters and visual garbage that the actual card game is hard to play. Same with bidding in bridge, and Canasta is ridiculous. I would not recommend this to anyone who actually finds playing cards fun. It is just a big mess. It would be nice if Hoyle offered a plain, no frills version for players who would appreciate having a solitaire game with the layout taking up most of ...

  • Absolutely horrible, ghastly.

I really dislike this product so vehemently. It is absolutley horrible. I can't manipulat the cards in my hand like I could with the older cdrom. If I go into the kitchen mode, the graphics on the cards are blurred. I don't like the fact that I can't have just a plain backgournd, the player has to be in one of the setting ie kitchen, garage, lounge etc. I really rally hate this product and I won't be using it at all.

  • Very dissappointed. The 2005 version is much better.

In this, the 2010 edition of the game . . . the cards are small and hard to see. Even playing the games is awkward. For example in the 2005 version you get to see the actual points being racked up as the cards are played while playing Canasta. In this new, 2010 version you have to guess. I was very disappointed with the 2010 version and dug out my old 2005 version. The 2010 was a total waste of $$$'s :(
