Fun Stuff
I was a huge fan of the original Quake and played it to death when it came out. Was feeling nostalgic as of late and bought another copy. Took a while to get it to play on Vista but finally got it going and played it out again, all the way through nightmare skill level. Decided to give this a try as my Quake juices were now fully flowing again. Getting it to download and play was quite a challenge but with a couple hours of research and trusty old Google, finally got it running (you need to also install the Darkplaces patch as this will not only give the game a superior engine to run on but also allow you to play in widescreen mode). All I can really say about the game itself is, if you love Quake you will dig this game. It retains the same feel of the first game and gives you plenty of ...
