    This is much better than a cheap code meter. It's not a high-end fully bi-directional professional OBD2 scanner. But for the do-it-yourselfer it will give you a lot of information on your car codes and it's capable of showing live streams for a number of data points. It can also do some maintenance things. I have not yet used any of those capabilities. Also advertised that it comes with lifetime system and data updates
