    An affordable step up from Chromebook

    If you're at all familiar with any of the Google Chromebook offerings out there, the HP stream offers a great way to step into that "student" or "office pool" notebook, but in a much more useful Windows platform. With all that HP has going [poorly] on at a corporate level, this notebook seems to be their way of getting some truly positive attention THE GOOD: The 13" display (for one) is big, bright and vibrant, the keyboard and touchpad are ample and well laid out and the overall speed and stability of this unit is WELL ahead of what you might expect at this price point. My Stream came in "Horizon Blue" (a really nice shade to pull out/look at, BTW) with an Intel Celeron 2.16Mhz processor, solid state drive (= no moving parts, like a thumb drive, more on that below) -- 2GB of RAM and a ...
