After 3 years of walking to the backside of my house to turn the pool lights on because our remote wouldn’t charge, I watched a YouTube video in which I discovered you could by a battery for this remote! Hayward pool supplies says you have to buy a whole new remote which was $800. Ridiculous!!! If you are questioning whether this works, IT DOES and it’s super easy to do. My remotes status before was lit up while on the dock, but wouldn’t hold a charge. This battery came charged.

There was a tool to remove the screws on the device. There was some adhesive on the battery to attach it (I was thinking I would have to buy some double-sided carpet tape or something). And then there were some alcohol wipe pads to clean the board before attaching the battery. It's actually a bit larger capacity than the original battery. I am very pleased.
