    Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-36FS120 36" TV

    Very nice TV. Very large and heavy however. Other than the weight it is a great TV. I've had a sony Trinitron's for years. Purchased this one to upgrade my 27" to a 36". Same TV larger picture. 27" replaced the 19" in the bedroom and th 19" is now in the kids room. Which is probably several years old by now and is still working perfectly. Pros: + Great picture quality rivaled only by HD in my opinion + Neat appearance + Very good sound quality + Manny Manny features + Easy to use fully functional remote + Flat screen for easy viewing from any angle Cons: - Very large , heavy difficult to move / transport

    Not so impressed with this one...

    I've had my WEGA model now for a few months and I am a little disappointed with it to be honest. The HD Channels come in truly well, but I am resisting spending EVEN more monthly for HD service and all that would it take to upgrade for it...and basically, the "digital cable" channels have just so-so clarity without the HD support, and had I realized this, I am certain I would have opted for a different model, until I was ready to convert. Just thought you might not want to make the same mistake I did, and wish I had been told this upfront....

    Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-36FS120 36" TV

    This 36" Sony WEGA is a really great TV. The picture quality rivals the best LCD and plasma screens I have seen. But it doesn't cost over $1000 like those all do. Watching a DVD on this TV is almost like being at the movies. The sound is very good, but if you hook it up to a surround system it's excellent. You can even feel the sound just like the movies! The only drawback is the weight, 230 pounds, but once you get it placed you'll love it!
