    Overall, a good mixer for the price, just wish it were more compact and lighter to use.

    Hand mixer with loads of power and a boost, but I find it a bit bulky and heavy for hand mixing. I like the bowl rest aspect, but the bowl needs to be heavy enough to take the weight of the mixer and not tip over. A good size ceramic or glass bowl works but, plastic and and lighter stainless steel bowls, not unless there is a lot of mix to weight the bowl down. The storage compartment is convenient unless you get the various available beaters and hooks, then it won't matter much. Overall, a good mixer for the price, just wish it were more compact and lighter to use.

    Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer

    This is a great mixer because it has a low starting speed. It is so convenient to have the mixer & attachments in the same place. Would recommend the mixer to all cooks.

    Very difficult to turn on and has only ONE speed (fast and faster!).

    The ON switch is so hard to press that I have to push with my thumb as hard as I can over and over to finally get it turned on. Instead of several speeds, it has only one . . . fast and furious!!! I should have returned it, but instead I will throw it in the trash. What good is an appliance if you can't get it turned on!!!!!????? My advice to people considering purchasing this mixer . . . DO NOT BUY IT!!!!

    Strong but noisy mixer.

    The good of this mixer is the power it has, Unit is slightly bulky but not horrible, Would have given 5 star but it is quite loud compared to other mixers, Unit is also difficult to re-case.

    Excellent product design, enough power for everyday jobs and easy to store!

    I needed a new hand mixer and tried this model that a friend purchased. Had to have one for myself. It offered everything I wanted: enough power to handle cookies and cakes, compact design, relatively light and easy to store. I rarely use my stand mixer because it takes up too much counter space. This model fits neatly in a drawer. I particularly like the beater storage feature so the attachments are always handy. This is a well-designed product at an affordable price.
