    Challenger 1.5 hp Pool Pump Motor

    This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one I bought last year and it went out last month. It worked well until it quit. We'll see how long this one last before giving it a 5 star rating. It was easy to install, very quiet and seems to be a good motor

    Quiet!

    I replaced the original motor that had loud, bad bearings and the difference is night and day. My pool guy installed it, so I can't speak to that, but it's super quiet and cost a lot less than I was expecting. Happy pool owner, so far.

    Better the the old one

    The motor was an exact replacement but seems to be of better quality. Matched the pump perfectly, electrical connection is better than the old one. It is also runs about 30% quieter.

    Fantastic Deliver Time

    I wasn't sure if I could wait for delivery time for an internet purchase of a pool pump because the water turns green if not circulated. This pump was here in two days, and before a local repairman could get one, plus $100 cheaper.

    Like a charm!

    I had my last motor burn out. This was the cheapest replacement I could find, so I wasn't sure about what I'd be getting. When I installed it, I was surprised at how well it pulled in the water and how quiet it was. It's been in for a little over a week, and so far it's doing well.
