    Easy to use

    The book is self explanatory, easy to use, and has a good front-end section to help even a novice like myself understand the hobby of collecting. I have been able to find every piece I've tried to look up so far. Not sure about accuracy of values though, as I have not tried to buy or sell based on this book yet.

    The best book on trains.

    This is a great book for the beginner to the long time collector, has good usefull information. I have used it on my current collection, and plan to use it on for more purchases. I have also used it to catelog my collection with my insurance complany, to help in setting a guide to price for them.

    Nice Price guide!

    This is a traditional price guide that works well. and is laid out period/ numerical style. Not too much to say except I wish the would add large Scale Lionel.

    A Must Have For Any Train Person!!

    Great reference guide and a must have for any train collector or dealer. I use this book and previous issues any time I am out buying collections or evaluating my own stock.
