The packing material left alot to be desired! It was torn (have photos) and there are scratches on the keyboard where the tear was, however, to my astonishment both keyboard and track pad work ... I am not used to the track pad, so I think the glitches are my fault! Great seller. Arrived before promised. Please however for everyone out there !     New or Used Hynex RAM has been always been reliable for my PCs over the years

    I've been buying used memory for my various Dell workstations for 15 years and I have never had a problem with Hynex, which is often the stock brand in my Dells. I tend to buy the maximum size and speed for the motherboard long after the prices come down and newer faster stuff is available for newer faster systems. This seems to weed out unreliable used memory, as I have never ever had a problem with installing a used set of the CORRECT SPECIFICATION memory that is compatible with many different brands of computer. This means that if I am buying Hynix, I am matching other memory already already installed or I am replacing all of the old RAM with uniformity. I have mixed and matched other brands or capacities and or speed, but that is only as good as the weakest link or slowest module, ...

    Hynix laptop memory

    1 ram stick worked in all devices. The 2nd ram stick would only run in 2 of 6 laptops. I had to shuffle ram sticks around but finally found a home for it.

    A perfect match to upgrade my computer's RAM.

    I checked out quite a few 4GB memory modules as I wanted to upgrade my computer and I was worried about a possible mismatch with the memory already installed. I selected this particular module as the ID number was virtually identical to the module already installed. Once I installed the additional module, I started the computer and let the BIOS figure out that something had changed and everything worked as hoped. When I checked the system status, it indicated that I now had 8GB. Perfect!

    adding additional memory to a system is a win-win; it's a good idea to max out your motherboard memory slots when running Win 10 [64 bit] - overall I have 16 GB that makes the system run like a champ. buying thru eBay makes it easy to match the memory that you already have.
