for a book touting "50 Years of Street Culture" , it only has one page....ONE, about how skateboarding originated and it was a few paragraphs long and incorrect.
All the photos are of the new "popsicle" style decks, not one picture of old sidewalk surfers , banana boards or old school street and vert decks of the 70's , 80's or 90's
this book reminds me of one you would buy when you were in elementary school and they had Book Fairs, where you could buy inexpensive books to read, and it is about the same reading level too
if you want a comprehensive book about skateboarding, I would suggest "Disposable" or "Ollie", which weighs in at 5pounds and a few pages short of 1000, and it is only "volume one"
this book was only a couple of bucks, so I didn't bother with a return, went right in the garbage can
