Excellent seller. Timely shipment and packed with care. Had a minor issue with contents that was handled quickly, fairly, and professionally. Excellent communication throughout. Would have high confidence dealing with the seller again and highly recommend. Also, very importantly when it comes to antique books, item exactly as pictured and described.

This will make a great Rock Box Player has the prefect control buttons and touchpad.

I still play RockBox DOOM on this player everyday for the last 5 years always fresh with 30 + Doom Games loaded on the player. She's not that pretty but Good quality from Toshiba - holds a lot of music, pics, video 80+ Games with RockBox. To bad the Apple and SMT phones killed most MP3 Player Companies what a shame...good by Toshiba, Creative Labs, Rio and so on....Sad.

  • Limited capability player - as delivered.

I bought this music player to use as a digital jukebox. I have a large music collection and primarily listen to playlists. My first attempt to use the player was to load a 1300 song M3U playlist from Musicmatch Jukebox. This was very frustrating because you are limited to Usb 1.0 speed (very slow) if you use any method other than the Gigabeat Room software to load the player. It also would error out and quit for any number of reasons during download and never tell you why. After a week of this, I loaded the Gigabeat Room software and found that it did not recognize standard M3U playlists. Now I have to rekey all my playlists in Gigabeat room manually. I did go to the trouble of rekeying one playlist to try. It also errored out but at least Gigabeat Room would tell you why. As it ...

  • Toshiba Gigabeat 40GB - Best Buy For The Money

If you're looking for plenty of room for all your songs and pictures, ease of use, a long battery life and high quality sound in a portable MP3 look no further! Boasting of a 40GB Hard Drive, 16 hrs of battery life on a single charge, ease of use menus and touch sensitive controls; the Toshiba Gigabeat just can't be beat. These MP3s are top notch for the dollar. The sound quality is very impressive it's almost like being in the recording studio...no kidding! With the included earphones remote you can turn it on and off, forward, reverse, skip and adjust volume while the main unit is safely tucked away in your shirt pocket or arm band (not included but recommended if you like to work out to your music). There are also silicone protective cases "Skins" available but beware that some do not ...

  • toshiba gigabeat MEG- (40GB) MP3 player

I am 67 years old and wanted to store and play some favorite songs, tunes, and narrations. I selected a bebuilt MP# player rather than the IPOD because of the ease of obtaining and using original works (and not paying the high royalties). I had to send tyhe original back after three weeks because it malfunctioned. The replacemant worked off and on with selection problems. The company offered to refund my money, but I decided to give them a second chance at replacement so sent the second unit in on Wednesday. When the unit is working it is excellent. But dependability apparently is an issue. Will give the product an average grade, but the vendor has been most cooperative. Ben Day

  • Better than an ipod!

I originally bought my husband a 20 mg Toshiba Gigabeat 2 years ago. A few weeks ago, our car was broken into, and the Gigabeat was one of the things stolen. With the insurance money, we could have purchased a different kind of mp3 player; however, my husband wanted another Gigabeat PRONTO! I have an ipod, and I like his much better. In fact, I kinda wish mine had been in the car so I could get a Gigabeat! It is sturdy, sleek, colorful, easy to use, and holds a TON of music, pics, etc. The only thing I would rate less than excellent is the software. I am fairly computer-proficient, and the program took a little while for me to figure out. Other than that, it's awesome!!!
