    Great Value

    This lens gives me exactly what I was looking for, abridge to my 70-300mm lens. It is my usual use lens and is operating flawlessly. The images are sharp, and the lens is easy to zoom and focus.

    Great lens, especially for the price I paid on e-bay!

    In my 30 years doing 35mm film photography, having many brands of cameras and lenses over the years, I have NEVER seen a 35-80 or any other wide-angle zoom with a focus distance of 1.2 INCHES, so the guy who "misunderstood" should have done his homework a bit better. This lens works awesome for what I got it for: car shots. For close-ups, I use either my Nikon 70-300 macro with a 2X teleconverter or my 105mm Macro. But I would never have expected a wide angle zoom to be a close-up lens. Excellent lens, especially since I only paid $50 for it! Couldn't ask for a better $50 wide-angle zoom lens anywhere, especially with the Nikon name on it!

    Great lens, sharp, lightweight and easy to use. Nikonhas done it again with this neat lens. A must for any Nikon AF camera.
