Good read, if a bit short.
I said that the Pet Force books were good when I reviewed the last novel, and I still believe that to be true--however, in this novel, one of the greatest problems with this series was highlighted--it's too short. I mean, you have a story that could have had more build-up crammed into less than 100 pages. Now granted the story isn't bad, but if this were a comic book, I think I could handle this decision a lot better.I said that the Pet Force books were good when I reviewed the last novel, and I still believe that to be true--however, in this novel, one of the greatest problems with this series was highlighted--it's too short. An eight year old really loves this book!
My eight year old got book one in this series, and he then had to have book two. Pie Rat's Revenge is book two, and after reading it, we had to get three. . . Looks like they wrote a winning series here!!
