High output, fairly neutral light color
This is one of the highest lumen outputs I've seen in a normal-shaped LED bulb. My previous favorite LED bulbs had a color temperature of 4000K, so I was wondering if these 5000K bulbs would be too "cold" with a blue tint, but I was pleasantly surprised. Like many LED and CFL bulbs, they are not intended for a fully enclosed fixture. LEDs need some cooling. So if you decide to put them in an enclosed fixture, be aware that they may run too hot and fail prematurely.This is one of the highest lumen outputs I've seen in a normal-shaped LED bulb. These are more compact than an equivalent brightness cfl lamps. 5000 kelvin is actually real white light, might be too harsh for some so if you want a softer white, use 4100K or 2700K which have a amber tint like a regular incandecent bulb. 100 watts brightness that consumes about 18watts. Warning...do not look at the bulb when powering on, it will shock your eyes.Eventually the price will come down on these bulbs.
