    This item is very well made and it fits perfectly with no hassle. I bought this item because of the strong air BLAST out of the exhaust, It does a perfect job of diffusing the air in a 360 degree radius. As a muffler it had no noticeable sound reduction. I gave a 5 star rating because of the superb job of diffusing the exhaust BLAST. BOB.

    Appears Ineffective To Me, But It Is Sturdy

    I concede I didn't do scientific testing of the effectiveness of this product. But I notice almost no difference in exhaust noise level when I use it, and I believe it reduces the suction power of the unit when it's installed. In fact, to me it seems to produce a higher-pitch exhaust sound that I find more irritating. Perhaps it reduces dust levels in the exhaust stream - I haven't noticed that but maybe that's an invisible benefit. The product is sturdy and well-made.
