LESS WATTAGE USED WITH THESE LEDs!
I replaced old 4watt bulbs with these new LEDs. I had to use 2 transformers on old style bulbs because I exceeded watt maximum. With these new LEDs I was able to eliminate the 2nd transformer and only use about 60% of the max. rating. best of all.... they stay lite! I don't have wiggle them and adjust the little wire on the bulb and hope it makes contact like the old style bulbs! I would compare them to about a 7w bulb, maybe a little brighter then that. 12v Landscape Bulbs to Warm White Led
The lighting is a little brighter then I had expected. Going from the 12volt bulbs to LED I had thought that the LED would have a similar warm glow but that's not the case.This is my second attempt to replace my 12volt lighting with LED. Maybe my expectations are too high. Don't get me wrong there nothing wrong with this product. It's just not what I had in mind.

As the title says. I purchased 25; and installed 7 in an indoor/outdoor LV setup. Initially I thought they were great, though too bright for my preferences. I also wouldn't consider the light "warm" by any stretch. It is more of a bright white - definitely not the temperature of incandescents. Unfortunately, after 3-4 weeks, one started flashing on and off - then another - in a random pattern, and suddenly I had a whole haunted house vibe going that was not desired. They failed after just a couple more days, as did additional lights; first getting dim as individual surface mounted LEDs failed, then going totally dark as the last one went out. It would appear that the failure is mainly due to failed solder joints, not a failure of the LEDs themselves. It is a moot point though. At ... As the title says. 12 Volt landscape lights
The 12 Volt landscape lights purchased were exactly as described, and arrived on time. After installation they emitted a warm white glow, and were slightly brighter that the previous LED bulbs installed. If they ever need replacement in the future, I would buy them again.
