Big Boost for Ruger New Model Six
The sights were quite easy to change out if you are handy with gunsmithing or mechanical fittings. Otherwise, you can also get your local gunsmith to do it for you in about 15 minutes. All I needed was a small push pin for the rear sights, and a precision flat head screw driver to remove and re-tighten the front and rear sights. Be sure to use Loctite Blue Thread Locker when screwing the front sight component in so that the recoil will not loosen it over time. Once installed, the new sights are definitely a huge improvement over the original iron sights due to its high visibility. Zeroing the sights at the range was also relatively simple since there were adjustment instructions that came with the kit.
