This USB innovation from Belkin lets you connect up to four peripherals quickly and easily. Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub provides four downstream USB ports that offer Plug-and-Play connectivity to your USB 1.1 (low- and full-speed) and USB 2.0 (high-speed) devices. This includes such peripherals as scanners, printers, mass-storage drives, and high-resolution cameras. The Hub is self-powered and allows cascading - so that up to 127 USB devices may be connected to a single port. The Hub is uniquely designed so that the four downstream ports can be positioned toward the back of the desktop for efficient cable management, or to the front of the desktop for easier port access. LEDs allow you to easily monitor master power and individual ports.

    Great expansion Hub for the Raspberry Pi

    The Belkin USB 2.0 hub is a solid device compatible with powering a Raspberry Pi and serving as a USB expander. The Pi has limitations on the power drawn by its USB ports when powered by the standard 1.0 Amp 5V wall wart. The Belkin works great with Wireless USB adaptors, USB storage devices, Mice, keyboards, etc. I bought this device because it does not backfeed power into the USB ports of the Pi and its power supply (2.4 A) is ample for powering several devices including the Pi itself.

    Excellent product

    Have had one for years and liked is to much I wanted another of the exact hub I already had. It seems to be discontinued. Get one now before they're all gone.
