Powerful, effective, convenient.
I've passed on a number of Sanitaire 3700's as gifts, mostly to friends in the hospitality field. The machine operates in blissful silence; just a soft woosh of suction air. It picks up dirt well. If you use the company's 'SA' bags, you can go quite a while before needing to change, and if you are careful and don't spill dirt, you probably won't need to change the after filters. I know one vacuum that's been used daily to sweep a normal sized restaurant and has never needed a repair to the motor...and that's going on four years now. No, it doesn't have a power nozzle and might appear to be wimpy on dirt but it doesn't need one to do it's job. I liked it so much that I bought one for my house.
