Lenovo Duet Chromebook Is Fun And Usable For Every Day Tasks
This is my first chromebook and its an interesting OS. It works really great, fast and easy to use. except doesn't play well with paramount plus from play store, but works from web site. to get the best sound out of it use Volume Booster From play store.Will most likely buy another after final update time. I purchased this Lenovo Duet Chromebook a month ago. At first everything was okay. Suddenly it began not working properly. Now I cannot get it to turn on anymore. I have tried every conceivable fix, and NOTHING works. I've tried every suggestion on YouTube and various websites, to no avail. Not buying any electronics on Ebay ever again. Makes me very suspicious of what I received. Lost money and now I will end up buying the $600 laptop on Amazon that I should have bought, to begin with. What a waste of money and time. A great device but not without its issues.
I really like this device but I am having quite a few software issues with it. I bought the Duet to use as a tablet when I want to just be browsing YouTube or listening to music but then to be able to switch to the keyboard and a mouse if I need to write a long email or something. In theory this all should work fine but the reality has been a little less. When I use the YouTube app and click a web page link in the description, the video reduces to thumbnail in the lower right corner of the screen but the video turns black. When I'm done on the web page I have to switch back to the YouTube app and scrub the timeline a little to get the video to reappear. Also, the action of connecting and disconnecting the keyboard has left a lot to be desired. A lot of times the apps on the screen pop out of full screen and go to windowed mode when the keyboard is connected, which is unwanted. Then I have to rearrange all the windows that are open. I also get spotty Bluetooth connections - sometimes when I wake the Duet my headphones connect right up. Other times they fail and and I have to restart them. I don't have that problem on other Android devices I've used the headphones with. All in all, this is a great device it just has a few annoying shortcomings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The best android tablet, period
You have to know what you are getting if you are thinking of buying the Duet. It is a tablet that can be used as a chromebook, but it is a tablet. This means that the CPU is not 32x or 64x, so running Linux apps that depend on this arquitecture will not work on the tablet. Nontheless, I absolutely love this tablet and I can say without a doubt it is the first android tablet that actually works. Love the keyboard (and yes, it takes some time to get used to it) and the magnets really work well. For this price, I can't recommend a similar product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
