    This is not like old school

    Makes waffles perfect,make sure you set it low to medium, or you’ll get them too dark. This make a more crispy waffle than a Belgium maker, however it is still has the same thickness. I would have preferred the old fashioned type maker, but I’m happy with this one. It is truly nonstick. Waffles come out very easily.

    Waste of money - don't buy!

    I have always loved Breville appliances but this waffle iron is not one of them. To get a waffle with the tiniest bit of color to it requires cooking at the max doneness level. The waffle is then so tough it can hardly be cut (or chewed). What a disappointment! My $39 Presto works sooooo much better.

    Perfect Waffle Maker

    Just the right size. It can make soft or crispy waffles - controllable with the knob which also turns the waffle iron off. You don't have to unplug it to turn it off! Waffles don''t stick and it doesn't require any oil to prevent them from sticking once it has been "seasoned." Very substantial and it looks great on the kitchen counter top. Love it.

    too expensive and I own other revile products. they work just fine.

    after using it 5 times the ready/non ready light stays on constant no matter what. can not tell when the waffle is done. only way is to keep lifting the lid and keep checking. its screwed up. for the cost of this machine I would not buy again.
