I've used this and the R12A refrigerant with good success. What one must remember about either of these products is they are hydrocarbon based, so they are flammable. Leaks are easily traced with a combustible gas detector. The hydrocarbon molecules are larger, so you may not leak after using this product if you had a small leak with freon. Do not use standard evacuation or freon recovery equipment after using this product as you can contaminate your equipment. If your system was empty when you added this product, you can vent to atmosphere since it is environmentally safe.

It doesn't get as cold as r-134.. it will work. Ambient Temps are 101 degrees and blowing around 70. R-134a will blow 65 or cooler. I'll keep messing with the stuff as I have a whole case. We will see.. Update about 2 weeks later: Ive put this in 3 of my subaru cars and a jeep. Unbelievable! Works great I use 1- 6oz. Can and it will work for a 16oz system. It really works! Used almost 2 in a jeep that requires 28oz. I used about 10oz.

Been using this product since the days of R-12 conversion and never looked back. Colder than 134a, lower head pressure and enviro friendly. Whats not to like? I have only 10 oz. in my Jeep and colder than ever before. Newest blend is the best yet !

Enviro-Safe works great. Feels like it is colder than R134a & doesn't take as many ounces to cool as R134a doe's. Very good product.

I didn't realize that these are only 6oz cans! A great deal turned into a ok deal. Read everything in the ad and don't assume anything. My mistake. Never again. But it's a good product for what it is.

This is the ONLY refrigerant I will use as a direct drop in replacement for R-12. It is compatible with R-12 mineral oil, so there is NO NEED install any conversions, flush your system, change adapters, etc.... It installs at atmospheric pressure so you do not need to pull vacuum before installing. It is 100% environmentally SAFE!!! If you want air vent temps close to or JUST above 32º the I suggest you buy this refrigerant. Be sure to buy the INDUSTRIAL version....it works GREAT! I have used this in C3 and C4 Corvettes as well as 2nd Gen Camaros, S-Series Chevy trucks and Chevy full size trucks. My passengers complain about being TOO cold instead of not being cool enough!!!

I have a leak in my Corvette air conditioning system and until I can get it repaired, I have been using a can of this in my system. It works just fine. No oil in it but for the price it is certainly and clearly Superior to paying 10 to 12 dollars for our 134 at the local store.

Two years ago I installed Enviro-Safe AC into my classic 1995 Mercedes-Benz S-500 as a recommended alternative to R12, the most common refrigerant used since the replacement of Freon. R12 is known to be very caustic to aluminum, which means it's very destructive to much of my car's tubing and to that of many other makes and models. Enviro-Safe is not only more environmentally friendly, it's not destructive to the materials in the car's A/C system. We've also replaced the R12 in our Lexus 460 and the shop that did the work is now using it for ALL the automobiles that pass through looking for A/C refreshment.
