Alanna Nash meticulously documents and explores all the relationships Elvis had with women that were 'extremely special,' as Ann-Margret so delightfully (and euphemistically) phrases it. I was delighted to see my stepmother, June Carter, make an appearance, as she always became uncharacteristically silent when Elvis' name came up in conversation. • Excellent! Not Just Another "Elvis" Book

This is one of the best books regarding Elvis and those who knew him. The author has done her research, she has written so you understand how Elvis was always searching, but not finding the true love of his life. This book shows the human side of Elvis that so many other writings tend to steer away from. You get a truer sense of how much Elvis wanted to love but because of (or in spite of) the position he was in life it may have been impossible. Read this one for a much better insight and you too will realize that sometimes we may not have what we want or need in spite of all the trying and efforts we put forth. This book shows a different side of Elvis. You won't be disappointed in the way this has been researched & written. It is one of better writings about one of the most famous men ...
