Solid 4.5 star. I always look at customer reviews before making any purchase, especially for something of this price and it being an item one would usually keep for several years. Obviously, there are lower and higher priced OLED TVs. This one was a logical choice for what you get. I actually didn’t need a TV and only bought a new one to get a larger screen size. I bought this one because of the picture, it having a center channel and I thought it would work well with my surround sound system. The 4.5 rating is because I’m not able to get external audio when streaming shows like Apple TV, Amazon, etc. In order to get audio I have to switch to the TV speakers. (I’m going to contact Sony to see if there is a solution to this issue). I can’t comment on anything game related since I don’t game. Overall, this is a good TV I would recommend it to any buyer. I have had the Sony XR-65A90J 65" OLED 4K Smart TV for about 6 weeks. Out of the box using the "Standard" picture setting (I found the "Cinema" setting too dark). The picture was good but I didn't find it as exceptional or outstanding "out of the box" as other reviews had stated. I adjusted the settings using the "Custom" picture mode and made basic adjustments suggested from a leading HDTV Review website. The picture was better but still not as good as I expected from a TV this expensive. I replaced an LG B7 with this Sony XR-65A90J 65". The LG B7 had a basic calibration by Best Buy years ago (Best Buy no longer does calibrations) and I found that the Sony's picture was better but not that much better. I looked at the LG G1 but after reading all the reviews chose the Sony instead. I'm thinking the LG G1 may have been the better choice for the money. I'm thinking about having the Sony calibrated by an ISF certified Calibrator.Read full review

Yes I would only buy Sony as my last 52” was made in June of 2008 and it still works like a champ. Picture is slightly better and brighter. Colors are the same. The refresh rate does matter. I’ve seen others on this island with 240 and there’s a noticeable difference. My tv still lags , same as the old one. Oh well, hopefully I have a Sony that last for 14 years again. You really don’t know what type of tv you have when looking at them these days, they all have no border or branding that’s visible. So as before the border and led SONY mattered, holds no relevance this time around. All I got , good luck researching

Looks amazing. Going from a 47" LG to a 65" Sony OLED is insane. This TV has the technology, the stand is great, and the remote is awesome as it lights up. The picture quality is above average for 1080p content but the 4k content looks awesome.

It's what you would expect from the best of the best TV brands. Sony last forever and their colors are unmatched.
