Not a boys handle
This product was advertised as a "Boys" axe handle. It is the same girth as a Man's axe handle only shorter. I was looking for a medium axe handle at that length. I have small hands and I have a medium Hudson Bay axe head. I was disappointed in the thickness (girth) of what came. I will use it on another axe head but am still looking for a medium axe handle. This wasted my time.

A little longer and a little thicker than my old boy's ax handle which is good. Proper grain orientation in the wood. Excellent replacement.
