    My Canon PowerShot G10 Review.

    This is a great little compact camera. It's small enough to simply put in a pocket but deliver's quality images. I bought the G10 to use as a camera for doing street photography. Now that the weather is improving, I am looking forward to take the camera out and experiment. A nice feature is that you can shoot both RAW and Jpg images plus you have different recipes you can use with the camera. I have the G10 and the G11, both are a pleasure to use when I don't want to drag out my bigger cameras. The only cons are not as much in the quality of the cameras themselves. I have seen a problem with the lens not zooming due to the wire harness breaking and have bought some with excessive paint being chipped off. The biggest problems I've found is the abuse they've endured. As mentioned, the ...

    Canon G12 repair (UK location)

    My G12 had failed with the lens in the extended position and would neither retract nor extend. On switch-on the camera came up with a "lens failure & please restart" type of message and made a strange noise too. The repair was done very quickly, with an email received on the day it had been received and repaired. It was immediately sent back to me. With the delays in postage overseas both ways it only took a couple of weeks in total. It has taken longer to get cameras repaired in the nearest city to me, 10 miles away! I am impressed by the service and do not hesitate to recommend it to others. I have only had the camera back for a few weeks but it has been working perfectly in every way.

    Lots of bang for little money

    G10 was cutting edge compact camera. I loved what it could do for me when traveling. Now some 15 years later it still is quite capable and compares well with today's compacts. No, it doesn't have bluetooth and wifi, doesn't take 15 pictures per second, but it does take good pictures. It can do everything manual, just like a "big" camera, I can afford to lose it, break it or have it stollen. It's very convertible to infrared too 🤗
