    Brother MFC-8890DW printer review

    Purchased this printer to be a work horse for both side business and teaching career. I especially needed something that would be flexible/versatile. I did a lot of research on this and took my time until I found one for a price I could manage. I didn't hesitate when a factory refurbished unit (w/ full manufacturer warranty) came up for about half the retail price. I've had this unit about a month so far, and have only had sporadic use, so the duty cycle has not ramped yet... As a science teacher in a poor urban school district doing things myself and finding alternative options/resources is requisite. I also have a side business teaching/tutoring for standardized tests (AP, SAT, ACT, SAT2, GMAT, MCAT ... And if that isn't enough I also do IT work on the side. So ...

    Reliable printer

    I am familiar with the old model, used to own 2 of them, for work and for home. And then decide to ugrade to the wireless model. As the old model it works very good and very reliable. It is hard to set it up to work with my wifi (in my case) since I bought the preowned unit it still had the old IP address and that messed me up for few days until figured it out.
