When you are a turkey, Thanksgiving dinner is a nightmare. Fortunately for turkey-kind, two of their own have the chance to change it all in 'Free Birds.' In this computer-animated film, Reggie fears the holiday and is scared of being eaten, but the rest of his flock think he's crazy. Miraculously, he gets a Presidential pardon and begins to live a life of leisure. Unfortunately, his relaxing life doesn't last long when another turkey named Jake kidnaps him. Together they use a time machine to travel back to the first holiday and hilariously attempt to put an end to the Thanksgiving dinner tradition. Released in 2014, the DVD features the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Poehler. The 91-minute movie is rated PG and includes the music video 'Shake a Tail Feather' for additional family fun.

    OK, but nothing to write home about

    I like computer animation, and it was pretty good in this movie. The movie just wasn't too my taste (no pun intended). It was different....fairly entertaining to watch once, but I won't watch it again. I was looking for something different to watch at Thanksgiving time, and it served the purpose.
