I went round and round, reading reviews on binos. I finally settled on these vipers. They surprised me. Super clear. Great binos. Good price quick ship.

got these for under 300 dollars, am happy with that. but at just under 500 dollars do i think they are twice the bino as the diamondback hd ? i dont think so, as i have the 8 x 28, 8 x 42, and 10 x 42 in the diamonbacks.

Surprisingly good glass for the price paid

I purchased this product as a gift for an aging hunter who was not seeing as well through his older binoculars. These came promptly and well packaged so there was no damage when he opened the package up. The clarity was very noticeable and was clear all the way to the outside edges. The low light capabilities are really good for the price of the glass. These are also not too heavy for their size. I would recommend these for anyone who needs a quality set of binoculars that are also on a budget.

Disappointed. I think these may be imitation Vortex Binoculars

I had already bought a pair of these exact same model binoculars from a different store and found them to be exceptionally clear and bright. Was disappointed with the ones I bought through this site. Definitely not the same quality... not as bright and clear as the older ones. There are some differences in the outer appearance and material too I believe that these are imitation "Vortex" binoculars and not the real thing. Disappointed.

  • Decent glass for its price

Nice and clear glass. Lens coating doesn't seem to impart any tint. Construction and adjustments feels solid. Good light transmission for most uses. Almost everything looks good in full daylight, but this also functions well in low light. Field of view is somewhat narrow.

  • Best for the Money

I originally bought a used pair of 10x42 Swarovskis from B&H for $1,800.00. I don't care about the brand name of a product; I care about the quality. And while the quality of those optics was quite high, I didn't think they were much better than the Zeiss Terras I owned and which were a fraction of the price. I returned them and got a new pair of Vipers. For half the price, I saw no difference in quality. Maybe my eye isn't that trained, but I suspect most people opt for the Swarovskis because the name. In my opinion, Vipers are just as good.

  • Unbeatable for the money.

I'm fairly new to the hunting optics game, but after looking through these side by side with Razor HDs, and talking to various people about the difference, I was told that it wouldn't be worth it (for me, at least) to move up to the highest level. If, however, you hunt out West and spend hours behind your glass regularly, it may be worth moving up. I spent a few hours this past weekend looking around a lake, a few hundred yards across and probably a mile or so to either end, and I could clearly make out what I was looking at. Very impressive.
