All I can say is wow
To me, all these "tales from..." books are awesome. They are great for people that have a hard time getting into a slow starting book. These types of books are great because they are a series of short stories that all have a common link in the star wars universe. In the stories you go from lesser known characters to their tie ins with the better known characters. STAR WARS scenes from the Orignal Trilogy, as seen through the eyes of all the Cantina patrons from Episode 4! Very well written, good attention to detail and continuity.

Great stories of "scum and villainy."
This is the "tales" book that started it all, and what a way to start! Some highlights include: 1. We Don't Do Weddings: The Band's Tale, a funny story about everyone's favorite jizz band, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. 2. Soup's On: The Pipe Smoker's Tale, a very bizarre story about how the guy with the pipe hunts down his victims...3. At The Crossroads: The Spacer's Tale is a very cool story about the guy that Obi-Wan talks to first and is directed to Chewie by. You'll love how he relates to Han and Chewie and his impressions of the strange Jedi who talked to him. 4. A Hunter's Fate: Greedo's Tale is a funny story that shows the reader how pathetic he actually was. 5. Have fun trying to find these characters next time you watch the movie!
