Kenmore made it better!
For five years my Kenmore top of the line vacuum did a great job but three months after the five year extended warranty ended it was beyond repair. I bought several cheep vacuums and they were a waste of money-all of them. So I did my research and I swallowed my pride and bought this model and it is not as expensive as the 1st one but it is a solid machine that does what I need and my leftover HEPA filters I stored work on this machine cleaning all the dust and doggy hair and dandruff so no one knows we have a dog in our house. This machine has fewer parts but it is a better machine, for example it maneuvers around the floor cleaning corners without needing to change tools. Also, it has a feature that automatically redirects suction whenever the floor cleaner gets blocked with a rug or other cloth etc,. This is a damn good machine if you have Asthma like I do. Not a winner for me
Oh my goodness this is one heavy machine! I have two other Kenmore Hepa Canister vacuums and they are a breeze to use compared to this one. This one has excellent suction and does the needed jobs, but very cumbersome. I do not like using just the wand as it doesn't extend as far as previous models and because of where it comes apart, limits getting into small spaces. I would not recommend this vacuum for an older person or someone with limited physical abilities; it's a man's machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Work horse!
Really great vacuum but kind of bulky and awkward to get used to. It is a wonderful cleaner and NO icky dirt containers and filters to empty full of germs and dust! I LOVE a good machine with a BAG! Love the power head NOT air driven and it is a work horse! -- just a great machine! I used to have a Dyson Animal and bought this to replace that. I have a super long haired cat and really got tired of the poor design and the cat hair clogs and the under powered Air Driven power head! (BAD) on the Dyson! The Dyson was all around a disappointment - bad!! "I just think things should work Properly" Like this Kenmore! Great features nice design
It will take me a little more time to get used to a Cannister because I have used upright vacs for years. I am especially pleased with the suction. Love a Kenmore
